We are thrilled to announce the initiative aimed at enhancing communication, fostering community engagement, and supporting educational advancement within the Agrupamento de Escolas Patrício Prazeres. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering families and nurturing a strong sense of community, NIALP has partnered with CML BIP ZIP (Lisbon Municipality) to introduce a series of free Portuguese language classes tailored specifically for parents.

The primary objective of these language classes is to empower parents with the confidence and capabilities to engage more fully in their children’s educational journey. Too often, language barriers can hinder effective communication between parents and teachers, leading to misunderstandings and missed opportunities for collaboration. By equipping parents with proficiency in the Portuguese language, we hope to bridge this gap and facilitate meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders involved in the education process.

Additionally, we are delighted to announce that we will be offering similar courses in two other schools: Agrupamento de Escolas das Olaias and Agrupamento de Escolas Gil Vicente as well.

In conclusion, we are excited to embark on this journey of empowerment and collaboration with the launch of our free Portuguese language classes for parents. Together, we can break down barriers, foster stronger connections, and create a more vibrant and inclusive community for all.
